Making the world a better place by empowering women
We find joy in doing this in a supportive community of like-minded professionals from diverse countries and cultures. As one of the first service organizations to understand women's unique role in shaping women's live in the 20th century, Zonta International began working for economic, social, education, legal, health and political equality for women in Buffalo, New York, USA in 1919.
What we do?
Zonta International is an independent, nonpartisan and nonsectarian global network of professionals united through purpose, taking positions based on its own values and democratic principles. We are a leading global organization of more than 25,000 members in 62 countries and the organization of choice for individuals sharing a common goal - To Build a Better World for Women and Girls. We believe this can be achieved by:
- Improving women's health and education.
- Ensuring women's economic empowerment.
- Strengthening women's representation in decision-making positions.
- Working to end violence against women.
We believe in making the world a better place by empowering women. We find joy in doing this in a supportive community of like-minded professionals from diverse countries and cultures.
