Following significant political upheaval and devastating flash floods in northeastern Bangladesh, Zonta Clubs swiftly distributed 1,000 relief kits to women and girls. The kits, containing essential supplies like food and hygiene items, were delivered via the Bangladesh Naval Force and local foundations. This initiative marks the first phase of their climate justice action, with plans for rehabilitation efforts once floodwaters recede. The project was led by District Governor Dr. Zareen Delawar and other key leaders, garnering local media attention for Zonta's rapid response in just three days.
