On 8 September 2025, the Zonta Club of Greater Dhaka gifted two sanitary napkin vending machines to the Girls’ Hostel of Comilla Medical College & Hospital. Although the inauguration was delayed, the resident students began using the machines immediately, and President Anhara Siddiky ensured they were refilled twice to meet urgent needs.

The official inauguration was held on 6 December 2025, attended by Vice-Principal Dr. Jahangir Alam Mozumder, Dr. Nafis Imtiaz Uddin Ahmed Shiplu, officials from the medical college, and residential female students. Both dignitaries expressed heartfelt gratitude to Zonta Club of Greater Dhaka for supporting women’s health and praised the club’s ongoing contributions.
A Zonta representative briefly shared Zonta International’s history, mission, and core pillars, and highlighted how the club is working in Bangladesh to advance women’s health, education, economic empowerment, leadership, and safety.

The programme concluded with photos and a tea break with the college authorities.
