he Zonta Club Of Greater Dhaka has sponsored and installed two more sanitary napkin vending machines at the Women’s Hostel of Cumilla Medical College. This initiative directly addresses a critical need for accessible feminine hygiene products, empowering the very students who will become the nation's future healthcare leaders.
The project, launched September, 2025, provides over 1500 female medical students with 24/7, affordable, and discreet access to sanitary napkins within the privacy of their hostel. Recognising that financial constraints and societal stigma often create barriers, the club has gone a step further by committing to provide smart debit cards for seamless, cashless purchases. This ensures that no student is left behind due to a lack of immediate funds.
