The Zonta Club of Greater Dhaka celebrated a meaningful day at Bharateshwari Homes, inaugurating two sanitary napkin vending machines to support menstrual health for students, a step toward ensuring dignity and hygiene. After a warm lunch hosted by the school, Zonta members, including Governor District 25, Ztn. Dr. Zareen Delawar, President Ztn Anhara Siddiky, Correspondent Secretary Ztn. Aniza Choudhury, Ztn. Barrister Azima Chowdhury, and Advocacy Chair Ztn. Sanjida Sultana, led an interactive session. They discussed personal hygiene, self-care, and women’s rights, with Barrister Ztn. Azima emphasizing, “Women’s rights are human rights,” and sharing strategies for resilience and self-advocacy. This marked the first time Bharateshwari Homes welcomed an external organization for such dialogue, and the students’ enthusiasm, insightful questions, and confidence left a lasting impression.
